Acrylic Letters
Acrylic gives the most uniform light of any sign face, because the light passes through a single continuous material rather than around a frame. It is the default face for illuminated letters, and it can also be used non-illuminated for a clean, modern wall sign.

Why acrylic gives the cleanest glow

Tell us whether the letter is illuminated and how close people stand to it. That decides the thickness, the diffusion grade and the module spacing.
Where acrylic is the wrong choice
- High-impact locations where polycarbonate would resist damage better
- Applications needing a metal face finish, such as brushed stainless or baked enamel
- Very large flat panels without support, where deflection becomes visible
- Signs requiring a specific metallic colour that only coating can achieve
Summary
Acrylic is the best material for an even, bright face and the easiest to light evenly. Choose the grade — matte, diffused, clear or printed — for the viewing distance, and keep the LED spacing tight enough that the face reads as one surface.

Is acrylic better than metal for illuminated letters?
For the face, usually yes: acrylic lights more evenly and is lighter. Metal is used for the return or for a non-illuminated letter, and the two are often combined.
Can acrylic letters be used outdoors?
Yes. Acrylic is UV-stable and widely used outdoors; the LED components and sealing decide weather performance, which is why we match the IP rating to the exposure.
What is your minimum order quantity?

Can you match our brand colours and logo?
Yes. Send us the artwork and we will reproduce it in the construction that suits your project. Custom colours can be spray painted to your PANTONE or RAL reference, and metal parts are available in brushed or mirror stainless steel with electroplated finishes including titanium gold, champagne gold, rose gold, black steel, antique bronze and antique brass.
